Summary:

A LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the LIMS software used in laboratories to track samples, manage workflows, and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• LIMS Software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
• Strong understanding of LIMS software and laboratory operations in a chemical facility
• Experience with data management and analysis
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• System Administration: Managing the LIMS software, including user access, permissions, and system configuration
• Data Management: Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within the LIMS
• Workflow Management: Optimizing and maintaining laboratory workflows within the LIMS
• Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues within the LIMS
• Reporting: Generating reports and analyzing data from the LIMS
• Training: Providing training to laboratory personnel on the use of the LIMS
• System Upgrades: Participating in LIMS upgrades and implementations
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
