Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM, invites applications for a Laboratory Scientist at Presbyterian Hospital. This hourly position requires schedule flexibility, including Monday–Friday mornings and weekend/holiday/on-call shifts as necessary.

Under general supervision, you will perform waived, moderate or high complexity tests, maintain equipment, run QC and assist with waived POCT oversight and staff training.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in biological/chemical science meeting CLIA lab requirements.
• Experience with POCT oversight and QA/QC procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate or high complexity tests under supervision.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and interfaces.
• Document QC testing and investigate deviations.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and IPC activities.
• Assist with staff training and onboarding.
