Job summary

TriCore Laboratory, at Lovelace Women's Hospital, is hiring a Laboratory Scientist. The role performs waived to high-complexity tests, maintains instruments, and ensures QC/QA integrity. You will support testing oversight, document results, and help train new staff, contributing to patient care and quality programs.

The position follows a Monday–Friday 1500–2330 schedule, with holidays and other shifts as needed, and requires CLIA-qualified education with related experience.

Qualifications

• CLIA-based education requirements for LS I–IV positions.
• Multiple pathways include bachelor or associate degrees with specific science hours.
• Credentials must meet CLIA and site qualifications for testing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate, or high complexity tests under supervision.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and interfaces.
• Document quality control and QA data and take corrective action as needed.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and staff training.
• Assist with waived testing, including POCT oversight and IT issues.
