Job Summary

Our Medline Acute Care sales team serves as the main interface for various hospital segments such as OR, Cath Lab, ICU, Labor and Delivery, Emergency Department, Materials Management, and C-suite. We engage with clinical and industry leaders to deliver a robust product portfolio and patient-care solutions. Job Description

We have a sales representative opening to join our Laboratory sales team covering the Illinois Territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Calling on all departments within the hospital lab. This sales team sells Laboratory Consumables and Capital Equipment.
  • Drive sales growth across all lab product categories.
  • Collaborate with acute care reps and IDN market directors within your specific region.
  • Make sales presentations of Laboratory Consumables and Capital Equipment.
  • Establish and nurture customer and manufacturer rep relationships.
  • Achieve sales growth goals as established.
  • Develop a regular call cycle with key decision-makers.
  • Manage and maintain existing business, presenting new products to grow business.
  • Engage in heavy cold calling, targeting and prospecting new account opportunities.
  • Manage your territory with an entrepreneurial spirit and franchise mentality.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of similar sales experience.
  • Track record of sales growth and quota attainment.
  • Ability to present multiple product lines.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Stable work history.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous laboratory consumables and capital equipment sales experience preferred.
  • Must be able to drive a car, travel approximately 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on site.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000 annually. This range is an estimate; actual salary varies based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. The role is commission and bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
