TriHealth is seeking a Laboratory Process Technician at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. You will ensure specimens are labeled, aliquoted, packaged, and tracked throughout the lab system and dispatched to referral laboratories.

Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, supporting diagnostic services, and ensuring accurate paperwork for service and billing while adhering to CLIA, Joint Commission and CAP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years hospital lab experience preferred.
• Formal phlebotomy training preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory terminology preferred.
• Specimen handling preferred.
• Data entry preferred.
• Windows software preferred.
• HIS and LIS preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician preferred.

Responsabilités

• Label, aliquot, package and track specimens through the TriHealth Laboratory system and dispatch to referral labs.
• Serve as a primary customer contact, handling inbound/outbound communications and supporting diagnostic services.
• Collect information for service and billing, resolve inquiries and issues.
• Complete paperwork in compliance with OIG guidelines and transcribe physician orders for LIS/HIS entries.
• Procure quality specimens from adult to infant patients for testing under CLIA, Joint Commission and CAP guidelines.
