Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Lab Processing Technician to support laboratory services across the TriHealth system. You will ensure proper labeling, aliquoting, packaging and tracking of specimens, assist with order entry, and provide courteous patient and healthcare-team support in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires attention to detail, a background in hospital labs or phlebotomy training (preferred), and familiarity with LIS/HIS systems.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Experience: 1–2 years in a hospital lab setting (Preferred).
• Training: Formal Phlebotomy training (Preferred).
• Knowledge & Skills: Laboratory terminology (Preferred); Specimen handling (Preferred); Data entry and Windows software (Preferred); HIS and LIS systems (Preferred).
• Certification: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, organize, and manage workload effectively.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of work.
• Handle complex assignments and delegate tasks as needed.
• Demonstrate strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
