The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of related experience, plus knowledge of lab workflows and strong computer/data-entry skills. Evening shift with weekend/holiday rotation and full-time status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a related field required.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations, terminology, and general laboratory workflow.
• Computer literacy and data entry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Sorts, registers, orders, labels, and distributes specimens using HIS or LIS; aims for zero mislabeling.
• Trains Outreach staff; coordinates daily workflow with supervisors and supports problem resolution.
• Organizes pickup routes, supplies, and reports for lab couriers and dispatches for routine and stat pickups.
• Orders supplies for clients; maintains storeroom inventory and monitors usage.
• Disseminates policies and procedures; documents fire drills; ensures AME education completion and other required activities.
• Provides supervisor feedback for reviews and contributes to special projects.
