Job summary

North Central Surgical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations in a high-volume hospital setting. You will ensure CLIA, TJC, and CAP compliance, mentor staff, and drive quality improvements across the lab.

You will oversee policies, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, while supporting effective specimen handling, data integrity, and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Doctoral, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accredited laboratory; POCT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations and ensure compliance with CLIA, TJC, and CAP standards.
• Develop, review, and update laboratory policies and procedures.
• Manage staff, scheduling, and ongoing education and evaluations.
• Oversee Point of Care Testing (POCT) program and maintain patient data confidentiality.
