Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories in Roswell, NM seeks an experienced leader to manage day-to-day operations of a hospital/clinical laboratory. You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality and customer service while aligning with organizational goals.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff development, and representing the lab in hospital leadership activities and with commercial clients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a lab-related field as stated.
• Two years of high complexity clinical laboratory experience required.
• ASCP AMT or equivalent certification as required by the lab discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of lab operations and staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, quality control and proficiency testing.
• Lead hiring, development, coaching and evaluation of staff.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and financial performance.
• Represent the laboratory at hospital committees and client meetings.
• Maintain inspection readiness and uphold safety and quality standards.
