Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5 years of experience in related laboratory work with leadership.
• 2+ years of supervision experience in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory services, workflow, administrative procedures and strategic planning to maintain an efficient lab operations.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting agency regulations.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and maintain ISO-compliant documentation.
• Establish goals and schedules for the laboratory.
• Oversee safety policies, training, and department-wide compliance.
• Coordinate administration; manage purchasing expenditures for supplies and equipment; ensure equipment is maintained and functioning.
• Interview, select and train employees; plan and direct work; appraise productivity and manage promotions or disciplinary actions.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
