Job summary

Rise Community Hospital Llc in Oak Grove, LA, seeks an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee daily operations of a moderate-complexity clinical laboratory, guiding MLS/MLTs and phlebotomists.

You will partner with hospital leadership to assure diagnostic accuracy, quality compliance, and efficient workflows, while mentoring staff and managing budget and LIS integrations.

This role requires a MLS/MT degree, Louisiana CLS Generalist, ASCP or AMT certification, and 2+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MLS/MT required.
• 2+ years of leadership in a hospital clinical lab.
• Louisiana CLS - GENERALIST and ASCP/AMT certification preferred.
• Solid knowledge of CLIA moderate-complexity guidelines and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily testing across Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Blood Bank.
• Maintain CLIA and Joint Commission readiness; manage QC, QA, proficiency testing.
