RISE Community Hospital seeks an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead daily operations, ensure CLIA/Joint Commission readiness, and guide a team of MLS/MLTs and phlebotomists in a fast-paced lab. You'll partner with hospital leaders to optimize workflow, quality, and turnaround times, while maintaining budgets and LIS integrations in a community setting that values patient care and safety.

Applicants should hold a MLS/MT degree with Louisiana CLS Generalist certification and have 3–5 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MLS/MT or related field.
• Louisiana CLS - GENERALIST certification required.
• ASCP or AMT MLS/MT certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of hospital lab experience in a clinical setting, with 2+ years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily testing across Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Blood Bank.
• Maintain CLIA/moderate-complexity and Joint Commission QA readiness; oversee QC/QA and proficiency testing.
• Recruit, schedule, and mentor MLS/MLTs and phlebotomists; foster a growth-oriented culture.
• Manage inventory, vendor relations, LIS integrations, and department budgeting.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and leadership to optimize turnaround times and patient care.
