Job summary

RISE Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a team of MLS/MLTs and phlebotomists. You will ensure CLIA/Joint Commission readiness, quality assurance, and a patient-centered approach in a collaborative environment.

You will work closely with hospital leadership and clinical staff to optimize testing workflows and maintain high diagnostic standards. A strong emphasis on leadership, compliance, and education is required.

Qualifications

• Leads daily lab operations and ensures high-quality diagnostic results.
• Maintains CLIA and Joint Commission readiness and QA processes.
• Mentors MLS/MLTs and phlebotomists to build a growth-focused culture.
• Manages inventory, LIS integrations, and departmental budget planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily testing across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, and blood bank.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA moderate-complexity guidelines and QA programs.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and executive management.
• Drive workflow improvements to optimize turnaround times and patient care.
