Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Laboratory Operations Leader to manage day-to-day clinical laboratory activities and oversee both credentialed and non-credentialed staff in a labor management partnership.

You will drive quality assurance, safety, regulatory and accreditation compliance, and develop training programs while coordinating cross-functional teams to improve processes and patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare-related field.
• Bachelor's degree in medical lab science or health care related field (or similar) with relevant experience.
• Experience in quality assurance, accreditation, and regulatory requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coaches staff; drives performance improvement and organizational change.
• Translates business plans into tactical actions; ensures policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintains testing and training standards; plans ongoing competency and in-service training.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements across labs.
