Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to stabilize and drive performance across laboratory operations at our California site. You will lead department leads, ensure clear expectations, and foster accountability in a fast-paced environment.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, proven leadership, and strong problem-solving skills. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in operations management, team leadership, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily laboratory operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to procedures.
• Lead, develop, and manage Department Leads (Client Services, Food Department Managers, Environmental Department Managers).
• Plan and allocate resources, including personnel, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Monitor workflow capacity and adjust staffing or priorities to meet demand.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team collaboration and operational effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain SOPs aligned with goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
