Job summary

Microbac is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to stabilize and drive performance across laboratory operations at the Turlock site. This role suits a confident people manager who can lead through change and build high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

The Operations Manager will lead department leads, prioritize work with leadership, ensure SOPs and regulatory compliance, and monitor performance metrics to deliver reliable results to clients.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in operations management and team leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, environmental, biological, or related field.
• Previous laboratory setting experience is required.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily laboratory operations for efficiency and adherence to procedures.
• Lead, develop, and manage Department Leads to promote accountability and high performance.
• Plan and allocate resources including personnel and workflow management.
• Monitor staffing and adjust priorities to meet demand.
• Implement process improvements to enhance collaboration and effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain SOPs aligned with goals and compliance.
