Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations, including assignment of lab staff and monitoring performance.
• Purchases or approves purchases of equipment and supplies; maintains inventory and instrument maintenance.
• Coordinates and conducts education and training programs for staff and external customers; develops SOPs.
• Develops and maintains quality assurance procedures; ensures compliance with current safety requirements.
• Participates in developing and monitoring long-range planning and budgeting; researches and recommends capital equipment and reagents.
• Maintains knowledge of advances in laboratory technology and regulatory requirements; attends seminars and conferences.
