Job summary

Under CLIA and state guidelines, the supervisor will oversee method validation, performance evaluations, and staff development, while maintaining efficiency and patient-centered service in a hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical laboratory science field is required.
• Clinical Lab Supervisor License - State of Florida required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversees testing of specimens per established protocols.
• Manages daily staffing and workload coordination.
• Provides training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Maintains equipment, inventory, and quality control program.
