Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Supervisor of Lab to oversee routine laboratory activities and ensure timely, quality-standard tests. You will help with hiring, training, evaluations, and payroll to maintain an efficient lab team.

The role requires leadership in a CLIA-compliant lab, scheduling, policy development, inventory management, and quality assurance across testing phases.

Qualificações

• EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
• EXPERIENCE - 4 Years of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -

Responsabilidades

• Supervises the work of assigned subordinates in testing phases. Performs all delegated functions as defined by the facility CLIA Director.
• Prepares schedules, coordinates job assignments, and monitors personnel. Assists in selecting, orienting, training, assigning, evaluating, disciplining, and discharging employees.
• Assists in the development of policies and procedures related to the laboratory, staffing, and scheduling.
• Communicates and escalates staffing issues or other concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Monitors the inventory system to ensure that necessary supplies are available as needed and in the proper quantity.
• Assists with implementing quality assurance programs and maintains standards and records that document compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Assists with reviewing quality control, proficiency testing, instrument maintenance, and quality assurance records, and any corrective actions.
• Assists with the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets.

Formação académica
