RMC - Resource Management Concepts Inc. in Patuxent River, MD seeks a Laboratory Operations Lead to oversee PaxSIL lab activities, manage technical personnel, and maintain mission-critical test equipment supporting aircraft-system integration and sustainment.

This on-site role requires active TS clearance, hands-on leadership, and proven ability to coordinate schedules, ensure security compliance, and deliver safe, reliable laboratory operations for DoD/NAVAIR programs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in aircraft systems testing, laboratory operations, systems integration, or a related field.
• Experience leading technical personnel or coordinating teams in a lab/test environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and assign work to laboratory personnel.
• Coordinate laboratory schedules, resources, maintenance, and test-event support.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot avionics, electrical, RF, fiber-optic, simulation, cryptographic, and network equipment.
• Support test execution, including pre-test preparation, monitoring, data collection, and documentation.
• Manage lab inventory, calibration, maintenance records, supplies, and configuration changes.
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, quality, DoD, and NAVAIR requirements.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks affecting personnel, equipment, schedules, and lab availability.
• Maintain a safe, organized, mission-ready laboratory environment.
