Job summary

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Operations Lead to oversee PaxSIL lab activities at Patuxent River, MD. The role requires hands-on leadership of technical staff, maintenance of critical test equipment, and support for aircraft-system integration, testing, and sustainment.

Active Top Secret clearance and 7+ years of related experience are required. The position is full-time and onsite with occasional after-hours test support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in aircraft systems testing, laboratory operations, systems integration, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with military aircraft avionics hardware and test equipment.
• Experience leading technical personnel or coordinating teams in an operational, maintenance, laboratory, or test environment.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and assign work to laboratory personnel.
• Coordinate laboratory schedules, resources, maintenance, and test-event support.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot avionics, electrical, RF, fiber-optic, simulation, cryptographic, and network equipment.
• Support test execution, including pre-test preparation, monitoring, data collection, and documentation.
• Manage lab inventory, calibration, maintenance records, supplies, and configuration changes.
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, quality, DoD, and NAVAIR requirements.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks affecting personnel, equipment, schedules, and lab availability.
• Maintain a safe, organized, mission-ready laboratory environment.
