Resource Management Concepts, Inc. seeks a Laboratory Operations Lead to oversee PaxSIL lab operations, mentor staff, and manage mission-critical test equipment for aircraft-system integration and testing at Patuxent River, MD.

You will lead technical personnel, coordinate resources, ensure security compliance, and support test execution in a hands-on role critical to DoD testing programs.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance
• 7+ years of experience in aircraft systems testing, laboratory operations, or related field
• Hands-on experience with military aircraft avionics hardware and test equipment
• Experience leading technical personnel or coordinating teams in an operational, maintenance, laboratory, or test environment
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and technical equipment safely and effectively
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders as needed

• Maintain a safe, organized, mission-ready laboratory environment

Job description

Location: Patuxent River, MD

Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance required

Work Schedule: Full-time, onsite; occasional early, late, or after-hours test support may be required.

Overview

RMC is seeking a Laboratory Operations Lead to support the P-8 Patuxent River System Integration Laboratory (PaxSIL). This hands-on leader will oversee daily laboratory operations, lead technical personnel, maintain mission-critical test equipment, and support aircraft-system integration, test, and sustainment activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• P-8 aircraft, PaxSIL, NAVAIR, Naval Aviation, or DoD test-and-evaluation experience
• Experience with RF and fiber-optic test equipment, avionics systems, simulation systems, secure communications, or cryptographic equipment
• Working knowledge of Linux, network configuration and troubleshooting, Wireshark, and network protocols
• Familiarity with Navy supply systems, OneTouch, configuration management, and Quality Management System processes
• Relevant technical, safety, RF, fiber-optic, cryptographic, or hazardous-material certifications

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $115,000 to $125,000 (annually).
