Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in West Norriton, PA is seeking a Lab Supervisor to manage daily operations Mon-Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, under the direction of the manager/director. You will plan, organize, schedule, and direct work to maximize staff, equipment, and material utilization within budget and quality standards. Lead and develop staff, perform advanced tests, ensure CLIA/HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
• ASCP Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department activities, distribute work, and set priorities.
• Supervise staff: interviews, hires, training, and performance evaluations.
• Perform advanced laboratory tests and validate results; re-evaluate methods as needed.
• Check and approve all specialized reports for accuracy.
• Initiate quality-control measures and ensure adherence to lab standards.
• Maintain safe, clean lab areas and equipment; assist during peak workloads.
