Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biology with college teaching experience preferred.
• Experience setting up, maintaining and using various lab equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and effectively communicate with direct supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to three laboratory courses per semester and provide coverage for labs when needed; coordinate schedules with course coordinators.
• Order, prepare, and maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and manuals; recruit and supervise student assistants.
• Maintain laboratory facilities, ensure safety standards, and coordinate transfers to surplus as needed.
• Coordinate procurement of supplies, obtain vendor quotes, and maintain procurement logs.
• Serve as the primary contact for part-time instructors, onboarding and providing ongoing instructional support.
