Job summary

Georgia State University’s Perimeter College Dunwoody Campus is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Coordinator to support daily lab operations, safety compliance, and instructional activities. This full-time on-campus role requires 40 hours per week and close collaboration with faculty, staff, and students.

You will supervise lab technicians and student workers, procure supplies, maintain equipment inventories, update logs, and ensure labs are prepared for classes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in the assigned research area or Bachelor's with two years of related experience.
• Experience with setting up, maintaining and using various lab equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and proper lab practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to three laboratory courses per semester as needed and coordinate schedules.
• Order, prepare and maintain lab supplies and equipment for weekly instruction.
• Maintain laboratory facilities and storage areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Coordinate procurement, vendor quotes, logs, and equipment maintenance.
• Serve as primary contact for part-time instructors and provide ongoing support.
