Qualifications

• Master's degree in the assigned research area or Bachelor's degree with two years related experience
• Experience supervising staff and student workers in a lab setting is preferred
• Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and equipment handling

Responsibilities

• Teach and assist in laboratory courses as needed; provide coverage during absences
• Order, prepare, and maintain laboratory supplies and equipment
• Maintain laboratory facilities and storage areas to ensure safety and organization
• Coordinate procurement and vendor dealings; support equipment maintenance and safety reporting
• Serve as primary contact for part-time instructors; onboard and train staff as needed
