American Water is seeking a Laboratory Services Specialist to manage critical workflows, schedule client requests, oversee sample login, and handle client notifications and proofing activities. The role includes ensuring reporting compliance with state and federal agencies.

You will generate lab reports, manage regulatory data uploads, and support related department functions while enabling accurate, timely service delivery in a standard indoor laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with a bachelor’s degree or 9+ years without a bachelor’s in a laboratory setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and handle special client requests and overseeing sample login processes.
• Manage client notifications and proofing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance by managing reporting requirements and regulatory agency workflows.
• Generate and process lab analysis reports and upload data to regulatory bodies.
• Support other lab department tasks to maintain smooth operations.
