Job summary

Apex Water and Process is seeking a Lab Analyst to perform routine and specialized tasks in our Chemistry and Microbiology labs, supporting water treatment operations through sample analysis, QC testing, and research contributions. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biology.
• Experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and high standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members.
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Self-motivated team player with integrity and leadership ability.
• IC and ICP experience (preferred).
• Experience working in a Chemistry lab setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests on Apex products.
• Test water treatment samples using IC, ICP, spectrophotometers.
• Perform corrosion coupon and deposit analyses.
• Assist with reagent inventory management.
• Calibrate balances and maintain instrument manuals.
• Prepare solutions and maintain lab records.
• Adhere to safety policies and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
