Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Laboratory Manager for our Rollinsford, NH location. The role oversees all lab operations and integrates with other parts of the company to ensure complex analysis of samples and safe, compliant procedures.

Qualifications include a BASc/BS in chemistry, biology, or environmental science and 5+ years in a lab setting with 2+ years of supervision. ICP and other lab instrumentation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related science highly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with QA/QC, Lab certification and production required.
• 3+ years leading a NELAC/ISO certified program in a chemical laboratory setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting in a safe manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment that follows all state, federal and company regulations.
• Performs complex analysis of samples following prescribed procedures with the ability to solve problems.
• Maintains equipment, including outside vendor scheduling per maintenance contracts and suggests solutions to equipment problems.
• Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion.
• Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines.
