Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related field and 2 years of related work experience in an industrial laboratory environment.
• 2 years of experience in Laboratory Information Management; SPC; MSA; and mitigating laboratory hazards (e.g., compressed gases, strong acids, ergonomic factors).
• 1 year of experience in SAP and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Labware version 6.

Responsibilities

• Monitor lab operations to support day-to-day manufacturing requirements and customer requirements.
• Provide direction to lab team.
• Lead and participate in LEAN deployment on site, including 5S, SPs, CIS, and Kaizen, to develop and sustain a LEAN environment.
• Lead and direct Quality Control processes in accordance with defined KPIs.
• Prepare ICP calibration standards with independent verification before releasing them for routine use.
• Calibrate and maintain the instruments used in the laboratory.
• Distinguish between good and bad data.
