Job summary

Johnson Matthey in New Jersey is seeking a QC/QA Manager to lead the site Quality department, including QC laboratory and QA team, ensuring compliance with ISO and customer requirements.

You will drive safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives while guiding a skilled team and coordinating with the Site Leadership Team to optimize performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality System Managements.
• Knowledge of common analytical techniques and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Department, including QC laboratory and QA team, as a key member of the Senior Site Leadership Team.
• Drive safety culture and continuous improvement across the site.
• Track, analyze and report QMS, KPI, COPQ and customer satisfaction trends; recommend corrective actions.
• Oversight of QA audits, ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
• Provide leadership and coaching to QA and QC personnel; manage budget adherence.
