Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Beaumont, TX is seeking an inventory/clerical support role to assist the Laboratory Resources Coordinator. You will help maintain adequate inventory levels for all laboratory departments, receive and stock supplies, reconcile packing slips, and coordinate with vendors.

The role also includes processing orders and supporting monthly reports. Experience is not required; a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory levels for all laboratory departments through regular inventory checks.
• Receives, stocks, reconciles packing slips, and coordinates with vendors for issue resolution.
• Enters supply orders into the HSS ordering system and supports monthly reporting and records management.
• Performs clerical duties and prepares correspondence, charts, and meeting materials as needed.
• Assists with monthly reports and maintenance of laboratory records and invoices.
• Maintains demographic information for STD reports and file documentation.
• Performs miscellaneous clerical tasks and creates documents using Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Collaborates with team to complete assignments on schedule.
• Participates in 10-12 in-house educational programs per year.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, HIPAA and PPE procedures.
