Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting or length of time to complete certification program preferred.
• State license is required to practice in Louisiana (CLS - Laboratory Assistant)
• CHRISTUS Health policy requires associates to obtain certifications within the designated time frame.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document information, processing logs, quality control, and labeling of reagents.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains laboratory equipment and glassware.
• Maintains and distributes laboratory supplies.
