Job summary
Sagis Diagnostics in Houston seeks an Associate Laboratory Integrations Solutions Engineer to support, optimize, and enhance laboratory information systems integrations. You will troubleshoot interfaces, coordinate with vendors and clients, and manage tickets to ensure timely resolutions and satisfaction.
The role focuses on HL7/XML integrations, EHR interoperability, and client-facing technical support, collaborating with the LIS team and sales to deliver seamless onboarding and effective
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a health or IT field and 2–3 years HL7/XML integrations experience.
- Experience supporting healthcare integrations or healthcare IT applications.
- Prior client-facing support or solutions engineering background.
- Familiarity with HL7 message structures and interface bi-directionality.
Responsibilities
- Manage HL7/XML integration projects between LIS, vendors, client EHRs, and connected platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot orders/results interfaces and connectivity issues.
- Handle interface tickets, document configurations, and maintain communication with clients.
- Configure compendiums, file transfers, and orders/results platforms; test and validate interfaces.
- Collaborate with LIS, Sales and Client Services for smooth onboarding and handoffs.
