Job summary

OLH Technical Services, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, seeks a Laboratory Infrastructure Technician (Code 25 Facilities) in Newport, RI. The role supports Code 25 facilities infra, shipboard lab equipment, and IT upgrades for government projects.

Responsibilities include monitoring HVAC and power systems, performing inspections, troubleshooting, fabricating mounts, and preparing equipment for shipment. 5+ years in related fields are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with installation and test of combat and weapon systems.
• 5+ years experience working in a computer and a test and evaluation laboratory with shipboard equipment and configurations.
• MHE qualified for pallet/bottle jacks, table lifts and similar load bearing equipment.
• 5+ years experience working with laboratory HVAC equipment and chill water systems.
• 5+ years experience and demonstrated proficiency in managing the work schedules of several personnel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor status of Code 25 Facilities and related infrastructure equipment (HVAC, EAFW, 400 Hz power).
• Log discrepancies and status changes daily on the Code 25 Facilities page.
• Submit Trouble Calls to lab manager and facilities personnel.
• Install Code 25 Laboratory equipment and IGFP components for Code 25 Facilities events.
• Design and fabricate infrastructure modifications and upgrade IT equipment.
• Perform inspections per QA checklist on all deliveries to Code 25 Laboratories.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and provide repair recommendations for approval.
• Fabricate and install stands, wall mounts, and unistrut assemblies.
• Install shipboard equipment on foundations and assemblies.
• Repair previously installed lab equipment as needed.
• Remove, flush, and purge EAFW/Water Cooled equipment per manuals.
• Prepare equipment for shipment and receive incoming equipment using handling equipment.
