Job summary

Three Saints Bay, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Infrastructure Technician in Newport, RI to support Code 25 Facilities and associated lab infrastructure, including IT equipment and infrastructure upgrades.

The role requires extensive lab experience, HVAC systems knowledge, and the ability to prepare and inspect equipment for Code 25 Facilities events, with responsibilities spanning installation, troubleshooting, and the handling of Government IGFP materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience with installation and test of combat and weapon systems.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in a computer and a test and evaluation laboratory with shipboard equipment and configurations.
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) qualified for pallet/bottle jacks, table lifts and similar load bearing equipment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with laboratory HVAC equipment and chill water systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the status of all Code 25 Facilities and Code 25 Facilities support infrastructure equipment including HVAC systems, EAFW, 400 Hz power.
• Submit Trouble Calls to cognizant NUWCDIVNPT Code 25 lab manager and Code 10 facilities personnel.
• Install Code 25 Laboratory Tactical Shipsets, equipment, racks, and IT gear for Code 25 Facilities events using IGFP.
• Design and fabricate infrastructure modifications and install IT equipment upgrades to support Government infrastructure requirements.
• Perform QA inspections on deliveries to Code 25 Laboratories and log results.
