Job summary

Inspira Health is seeking a Laboratory Generalist to perform testing and quality control across departments. You will operate instrumentation, prepare reagents, and report results according to established policies. You must communicate with nursing staff and physicians about patient results and assist on various projects as needed.

Independent work ability is required. The ideal candidate holds an AS in laboratory science or equivalent training, with 1–3 years of clinical lab experience and ASCP

Qualifications

• ASCP or equivalent certification is required or eligible within 12 months of hire.
• 1–3 years clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Associate of Science in laboratory science preferred or equivalent training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing and quality control procedures as a generalist in all relevant laboratory departments.
• Operates instrumentation, prepares reagents and reports results per policies and procedures.
• Performs testing under supervision of Laboratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Technologist and communicates results to nursing/physicians.
• Must be able to work independently.
