Job summary

American Health S LLC is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform routine and clinical laboratory tests across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Microbiology. The role requires a strong technical background and the ability to operate automated and manual lab procedures.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in science, ABHES/NAACLS-trainable or equivalent, CLIA/CAP knowledge, and familiarity with Beckman Coulter, Abbott, and Siemens instrumentation; ASCP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to operate clinical laboratory equipment in automated and manual procedures.
• Experience with Beckman Coulter, Abbott, and Siemens instrumentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing as assigned.
• Perform required Quality Control testing.
• Perform Proficiency Testing when assigned.
• Review Patient Reports as testing occurs to perform repeat analysis, if required.
• Monitor supply inventories to assure adequate workload.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance as required.
• Review and assist in updating Standard Operating Procedures.
• Report concerns to Laboratory Management on status of testing.
