Job summary

HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center is seeking a Technologist/Coordinator to oversee daily lab operations and ensure rapid, accurate testing in a high-volume environment in Denver.

You will supervise staff, maintain quality standards, and support the department under the Laboratory Director. The role requires ASCP/NCA/HEW licensure and a BA/BS in Medical Technology or related field, plus at least four years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: ASCP, NCA, HEW required.
• BA/BS in Medical Technology or related field; certification requires a degree and internship.
• Four years minimum experience as a Technologist in the assigned area.
• Strong leadership and detail-oriented, highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily department activities and perform testing procedures to obtain timely, accurate data.
• Monitor personnel actions, provide quality service, ensure compliance with CAP, JCAHO, and CLIA standards.
• Provide training of laboratory personnel and ensure validity of test results through logs, QC, and worksheets.
• Improve leadership, training, and technical skills through ongoing education.
