Job summary

HCA HealthONE seeks a Technologist/Coordinator to supervise daily lab operations at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver. You will coordinate testing, ensure CAP/JCAHO/CLIA compliance, and provide training to staff while maintaining accuracy of results.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical proficiency, and process improvement within a major regional healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification: ASCP, NCA, HEW required; eligible for registry.
• Education: BA/BS in Medical Technology or related field; internship/experience required.
• Experience: Four years minimum experience as a Technologist in the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily department activities and perform testing procedures.
• Monitor personnel, ensure quality service and compliance with CAP/JCAHO/CLIA.
• Provide technical assistance and training to laboratory staff.
• Review result logs, QC, PI and worksheets to assure accuracy.
• Lead by example and strive to improve leadership and technical skills.
