Qualifications

• State license or ASCP/MLS certification required per state.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory personnel to ensure adherence to policies and ethics.
• Serve as CLIA-defined Technical Consultant by resolving technical problems.
• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, inventory, and equipment.
• Establish performance characteristics for test procedures.
• Maintain a quality control program and proficiency testing.
• Analyze lab results to ensure accuracy of reporting.
