Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Laboratory Call Center Specialist in Wisconsin to manage inbound and outbound client calls, report results, and ensure timely communication with medical staff. The role requires strong computer skills and the ability to handle high-stress situations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include supporting blood draw coordination, policy maintenance, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or related field.
• 3 years’ experience preferred.
• MLT/MT/MLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on inbound calls for the laboratory.
• Perform outbound calls to clients.
• Report results and notify medical staff of critical results.
• Maintain knowledge of laboratory operations and databases.
• Coordinate blood draw requests and specimen pickups.
• Assist with maintenance of client service policies and procedures.
• Instruct students and new staff as assigned.
