Job description

Onsite Only in Alameda: Entry Level Lab Technician in the Complaint Investigations Lab

  1. Unpack boxes safely and sort returned products by product lines.
  2. Investigate returned products to resolve customer complaints related to blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors.
  3. Document complaint investigations in the Complaint Handling System.
  4. Use troubleshooting equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, microscopes, etc., to complete investigations.
  5. Must Have: Basic computer skills (navigating internet programs, basic Excel), ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  6. Experience in Medical Device/Biotech Industry is preferred.
  7. Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting is a plus.
  8. Ability to work in a team setting is advantageous.
  9. Fast learner with the ability to follow written SOP work instructions.
  10. Strong documentation skills are required.
  11. Good computer skills are essential for data entry of investigation results.
  12. Ability to focus during repetitive and routine investigations.
  13. Suitable for candidates with manufacturing, inspection, or assembly experience.

Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). An Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science is a good fit. Recent college graduates with a Bachelor's degree may be considered but are not ideal for this entry-level role.
