AdventHealth in Florida is hiring a Phlebotomy/Laboratory Technician for the day shift in a full-time capacity. You will collect blood samples, process specimens, and support tests in a fast-paced hospital lab.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy training or certification preferred.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.
• 1+ year of AdventHealth Lab experience preferred.
• Typing speed minimum 30 wpm preferred.

Responsibilities

• May perform point of care testing with QC and reporting.
• Handle lab specimen collection and processing per SOPs.
• Operate preanalytical instruments and transport specimens.
• Train new staff and act as a staff resource.
• Adhere to safety and PPE guidelines in all tasks.
• Support customer service and education for clinical staff.
