Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy training or medical assistant program completed.
  • Six months of phlebotomy experience or RN/LPN student enrollment.

Evening Shift Differential: $2.00/hour
Hours:Day and Evening Swing Shift: 5:00a - 1:30p or 2:30p - 11:00p

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Draw blood for tests, transfusions, donations, or research. May explain the procedure to patients and assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Proof of one of the following:

  • Completion of a Phlebotomy training program
  • Completion of medical assistant program
  • Completion of an internship/training program that included venipuncture, skin puncture, patient preparation and post collection transportation/processing
  • Currently/actively enrolled in an RN or LPN program
  • Six (6) months of Phlebotomy experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • One (1) year of patient care experience working in the healthcare field
