Base pay range

$28.66/hr - $30.66/hr

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Pay: $28.66-$30.66/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain accurate inventory and location of pre-clinical and clinical samples
• Maintain sample integrity
• Accession pre-clinical and clinical samples into repository database
• Perform data entry/scanning of sample identification into repository database
• Organize and consolidate samples in relation to research studies
• Handles various types of biospecimens including fresh and frozen biofluids (e.g. blood, urine, stool, saliva, etc.)
• Monitors temperatures of storage refrigerators and freezers

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in life science or equivalent with 0-2 years of work experience

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 35 lbs.
• Must be able to process and handle materials frozen on dry ice (-80°C) for up to 6 hours per day
• Must be able to use a computer up to 6 hours per day
