Sanford Health in Spearfish, SD is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to perform specimen collection and processing in a hospital-lab setting, supporting clinical operations and patient care on a day shift. This is a full-time role with standard 40-hour weeks.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, preparing specimens, and entering orders and results in the laboratory information system, all within a safe and compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program and phlebotomy experience preferred.
• BLS certification may be required.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.

Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
