Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND seeks a part-time Phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy, collect, prepare and process specimens, and assist with routine lab tasks. You may enter orders and results, ensuring accuracy in a safe, professional environment. Evening shifts and a 12-hour weekly commitment are specified.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, plus completion of a formal phlebotomy program. Phlebotomy experience and lab-related work are preferred; BLS certification may be required.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.

Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
