Job summary

Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI seeks a phlebotomy technician to join the laboratory team. You will perform specimen collection, processing, and assist with daily lab activities in a multi-location setting.

Responsibilities include data entry of orders/results, maintaining quality and safety, and training new staff. Eligible for Float Premium; base location Marshfield with travel to nearby sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of laboratory related experience preferred.
• AMT or ASCP certification or registry eligible within 12 months; BLS may be required.

• Perform phlebotomy and collect/process specimens.
• Assist in laboratory activities and prepare specimens and supplies.
• Enter laboratory orders and results; ensure data accuracy and quality.

Position base Marshfield, WI and will work in various locations based on need working directly with patients to ensure quality care. Other locations include Colby-Abbotsford, Greenwood, Neillsville, Stratford, Wisconsin Rapids.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment. Expected to train and onboard new employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required.
• One Year Of Laboratory Related Experience Preferred.
• National phlebotomy certification through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is required or registry eligible to take exam within 12 months of hire. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
