Job summary

Sanford Health Jordan Clin in Rapid City, SD is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to collect, prepare and process specimens. You will support laboratory activities and enter orders and results in a safe, accurate workflow.

The role requires a phlebotomy program completion, lab experience, and a preferred GED or high school diploma; BLS certification may be required. Benefits are offered for eligible staff.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.

Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
